Support
Fishing for Friends records a day's fishing as a GPS-tracked session, logs the catches you make during it, and shares the result with the anglers you choose. If something is not working, or you need an account sorted out, write to us.

Email support@fishingforfriends.com and a person will answer. Telling us your display name, your phone and the app version — at the bottom of Settings — gets you a faster answer.
Common questions
My track is not recording
Recording needs location access set to Always, so the track keeps drawing with the phone in your pocket. Check it in iOS Settings, under Privacy and security, then Location services. A track also only appears once you have actually moved.
Deleting one session
Open the session, then delete it from its menu. That removes the track, the catches and the photos on it.
Deleting your account
Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. It permanently erases your account, sessions, catches and photos, and it cannot be undone.
Cancelling Pro
Apple manages the subscription, so cancelling happens in your App Store subscription settings, not in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Getting Pro back on a new phone
Open the Pro screen and use Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it.
Reporting or blocking someone
Report a session from its menu, and report, block or mute an angler from their profile. A person reviews every report within 24 hours. Blocked and muted anglers are listed in Settings, under Privacy and safety.
Forgotten password
Use Forgot password on the login screen. If you signed up with Apple or Google, sign in that way instead — there is no password to reset.
